The Digital Kit program, initiated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and funded by the European Union through Next Generation EU funds with a total of 3,000 million euros, is designed to assist SMEs and self-employed individuals in Spain on their journey towards digital transformation by providing grants.

Requirements

SMEs and self-employed workers who request the Digital Kit must meet a series of requirements regardless of the segment to which they belong:

• Be a small business, micro-business or self-employed, with a minimum of 6 months of activity.
• Not be considered a company in crisis.
• Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
• Not be subject to a pending recovery order from the European Commission that has declared aid illegal and incompatible with the common market.
• Not incur any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies.
• Be registered in the Census of businessmen, professionals and withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Foral Tax Administration.
• Do not exceed the limit of minimis aid – all subsidies granted by EU states less than 200,000.
• Have the evaluation of the Digital Maturity Level according to the diagnostic test on the Acelera PYME platform.
